Capturing the sweet-as-honey, fleeting moments of life from marriage to maternity + all the little joys in between.
‘HoneyLensPhoto’ comes from the name of my middle daughter, Honey-Lynn; because my why behind creating this studio all comes back to my own family and wanting to help other families capture their fleeting, precious moments at each stage of their lives. From marriage to maternity, and every family milestone in between, it’s my honor to be there to capture these special events in your life for you!
I was that mom with 4 under 5 years old, toting a carry-on-sized diaper bag with me everywhere I went (built-in hourly workout, anyone?) It was chaotic, yes… but it was absolutely magical.
My husband and I always prioritized capturing these precious moments, knowing they’d be fleeting. We tried fruitlessly to capture these beautiful moments by hiring photographers who, while well-intentioned, simply didn’t know how to pose our busy family in a child-centered way…
That’s when I decided to become a photographer, and completely change the nature of the industry to better support families like mine + yours. I’m committed to creating a world-class client experience, because I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the lens.
HoneyLensPhoto is committed to capturing the authentic essence of who your family is.
It’s about letting your family just be you. Ok yes, we’ll still get that classic family portrait to frame for grandma’s holiday gift… but the rest of our images will showcase the fun + whimsy of who your family is.
We’ll go on an adventure together, letting your kids lead the way with their natural wonder and curiosity (then intentionally posing your family around these natural moments!). When we let this happen, we can capture your family’s pure spirit in beautiful timeless images.

HoneyLensPhoto is genuinely a byproduct of my love of family + children + capturing their individuality. I recognize kids’ strengths and encourage them to shine. I bring this into lifestyle photography by allowing your family’s natural rhythm and movements to set the speed and using my expertise to have you naturally pose around these movements.
I’m well versed in working with kids of all different ages and backgrounds and pride myself on making everyone feel comfortable, unique and special in our shoots. I have extensive experience with children and adults of all abilities, including autism, down syndrome, and sensory processing disorders.

I'm a mama of four kiddos residing in Conifer, Colorado & seasonally in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
I’m navigating life with 2 teenage girls, a football-loving son, and a sweet 9-year old who just wants to be with mom. Wish me luck.
Fitness is an integral part of my being and routine. I am currently into boutique fitness studios. Also naps. Plus coffee. Repeat daily.
