Capture your precious journey into motherhood with timeless images. Shine solo with your bump or newborn, or invite other children, your partner or fur baby in the session!
For maternity sessions: we recommend they be done at 26-30 weeks, so you have your maternal glow but aren’t uncomfortable during the photoshoot.
For newborn sessions, we take the photos in a studio or your home. This photoshoot will be done in a natural, lifestyle format. We won’t use any props or gimmicks… we focus on telling the natural story of new motherhood.

I love to take seniors to the place that makes them feel most themselves so we can really capture who they are at this monumental moment in their lives. As a former middle school teacher + basketball coach, connecting with teens is one of my favorite parts of my job!

Will you travel to me?
How quickly will I get my images?
For typical photoshoots, please allow 21 days from your shoot to receive images (typically much faster). Please allow four weeks for weddings and events. Social media sneak peeks are usually available within 72 hours (except during the busy holiday season).

Do you require a retainer?
Yes. Upon booking, I require a $150 retainer to reserve your day and time. This is applied towards your final balance. The final balance is due on the day of the session. Weddings and events require a 50% retainer.

Is the retainer refundable?
No, because your time is set aside and reserved, and the studio has foregone other work to capture your beautiful story. HoneyLensPhoto will take all reasonable measures to secure an alternate date in the event of weather.

Do you provide wardrobe assistance?
YES! The studio has a paid subscription to an interactive wardrobe selection tool, Style & Select, available once your retainer is paid. I can also facilitate dress rentals for maternity and engagement sessions.

Can I bring my pets?
Yes! I love pet photography, especially in senior portraits. I’ve photographed cats, heaps of dogs and even a turkey in our outdoor lifestyle sessions.

What is your experience in working with special needs or differing abilities?
I’m a former middle school basketball coach, mama of four and long-time substitute teacher, including SPED. I have extensive experience with children and adults of all abilities, including (but not limited to) autism, down syndrome and sensory processing disorders.

When are you in Cherry Grove, SC and North Myrtle Beach, SC?
I typically photograph in South Carolina from June to mid-August. Because the water is my family’s happy place, too.

Can I order prints or canvas wall art directly from you?
Absolutely! Give your house a hug and make it a home. I offer full service, in-home wall art consultation when requested for an additional $150.

Will you travel to me?
Absolutely, within Colorado or South Carolina! For Breckinridge, Vail and surrounding areas of Colorado, I charge a travel fee of $175. For Charleston, South Carolina and the surrounding area, I charge the same travel fee of $175. I’m also usually available to travel to other locations within Colorado or South Carolina for a fee - simply inquire with me.
